Emma Watson has almost finished shooting the very last of the Harry Potter series. Come September she will draw a line under this part of her life and embark on a whole new life as a student at Columbia University. In an interview with Elle Magazine she opened up about her thoughts on life after Potter: “My whole life has been about Harry Potter and then all of that will shut down and I don’t know what it will be like.”

Also, Emma claims she had no idea how much money she was making on the Potter films, and said she was “shocked” when she found out on her 18th birthday that she had amassed a fortune of well over 10 million dollars: “My dad never told me how much money I was earning. The truth is I would just like to pretend that it doesn’t exist.”

I wonder about that. Would you really work for a huge part of your life, missing holidays, being in the centre of attention ALL the time and not wonder if you were being paid more than a pittance? Call me greedy, but I´d definitely have wanted to know! And Emma is not stupid, she got straight A´s. Maybe not in maths?

Danneel Harris, aka Brooke´s evil nemesis Rachel, has just signed on for at least seven episodes of One Tree Hill, starting the second ep. I´m not terribly excited, because she wasn´t really all that evil, but maybe this time around? She could have a go at stealing Julian away from Brooke?

Anyway, let´s summarize the new cast members:
90210 alum Jana Kramer will be playing the new face of Brooke´s fashion label. And BOY is she pretttttty!
Nip/Tuck ´s Robert Buckley is signing on as Nathan´s agent and the relatively unknown Shantel Vansanten as Hayley´s sister.

So, first there was the unfortunate sex tape incident. Then there were rumors that Gossip Girl star Leighton Meester had become engaged to her boyfriend Sebastian Stan (well, they changed their Facebook status to “engaged”. I guess these days, that´s like putting an ad in the New York Times!) and now

Leighton Meester is also in a new music video, Good Girls go bad by The Cobra Starship.

Oh, and she has started work on Gossip Girl season 3. Yep. Leighton is one busy little Queen B!

Finally, Leighton Meester, Chace Crawford, Blake Lively and Ed Westwick got back to why we love them: plotting and scheming in the Upper East Side on Gossip Girl! Boy have they been having busy summers:
First of all Leighton, obviously, had a turbulent time. Filming, having a sextape released and then there are those engagement rumors….

Chace got voted hottest bachelor by People Magazine and started training for Footloose!

Anyway, the gang´s back for more Gossip Girl action, and I suppose that´ll be the silver lining when summer´s end rolls by: new Gossip Girl eps!

There´s hope for us older gals, if we want to get it on with Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe.

He said in a recent interview that he finds girls his own age too high maintenance, and prefers his women a little older. “Girls my own age are not really an option,” he told Parade Magazine. “I find, generally speaking, they have to be entertained more than older girls do.” You old romantic Harry! Daniel then continues to explain what he means by “older”: “Most of the girls I have had serious things with are generally sort of in their 20s.”
In their twenties, mind you, so I won’t be filing for divorce just yet.

They´ve got to be kidding! One of the world´s most hated couples seems to be giving it yet another try! Last summer, Balthazar Getty and Sienna Miller made headlines when Getty left his wife, and mother of his gaggle of children, for Sienna and the two very publicly made out for a couple of months. The couple was spotted sharing a cosy Italian meal in New York. “They were very nice and chatty,” the manager of the restaurant told E!. Hmm. Nice and chatty? Doesn´t sound like a hot date to me.

Newlywed Scarlett Johansson may be about to play a very special bride on the silver screen. In the remake of Bride of Frankenstein, Scarlett is being tipped as the lead. In the story, Docter Frankenstein builds a female companion for his monster out of human body parts. Brought to life, the Bride doesn´t want to get up close and personal with the monster which causes, ehm, friction.

FemaleFirst reports: “The Bride of Frankenstein will be young this time. They’re looking for a person with great power and sex appeal. Someone along the lines of Scarlett Johansson or Anne Hathaway.”
Scarlett, sure, but Anne Hathaway? I´m sorry, did I miss The Princess Diaries 3: Nasty at the palace? Since when is Anne Hathaway sexy? Beautiful, yes, very much so, but “great sex appeal”? Nah- ah!

According to Bradley Cooper, there is definitely going to be a sequel to the smash hit The hangover. Then again, Bradley has been known to bend the truth, such as when he said he reaaaaally wasn´t joining “>the A-team, so we´ll take whatever he says with a bucket of salt.

He was rather specific though, Bradley told WENN in an interview: “We’re going to shoot it next fall… We’ve gotta go to space or something. Some weird thing’s got to happen.”

So who knows, there might be a second Hangover in the making. Would that be any fun at all? With two babies? Twins? Maybe Mary Kate and Ashley?
