Angelina, Kate, Renee, Miley, Eva, Cameron, J.Lo, everybody turned up in their prettiest outfits for this years Golden Globes.

Poor Anne Hathaway didn’t win a Golden Globe after all! Even though the GG website already proclaimed her the winner days in advance. Anne lost out to Kate Winslet’s Revolutionary Road. Luckily Anne’s hair was perfect.

Anyway, I thought the best dress was worn by Drew Barrymore, shame about the wacky hair, Miley Cyrus looked wonderful and sweet in an empire waisted white gauzy dress. Best complete package, great dress, amazing hair, goes to Mad Men star January Jones. Wow. Also glad she chose ice blue rather than boring red or black.

Worst dress: Freida Pinto. No contest. Looks like she’s wearing a turd. Terrible. And boring high school hair. Surprising runner up:in the worst dressed stakes, Angelina Jolie’s shimmery, ill fitting shift thingy. Hated everything about it. Even Versace can have an off day.

More bad decisions: America Ferrara looked like a Project Runway reject, in one of those episodes where they have to make a dress out of weird stuff, like styrofoam cups or dogfood.

Gossip Girl Blake Lively showed up in a dress that, amazingly, made her look both cheap and fat. Fire your stylist, girl!

There was a lot of debate about Renee Zellwegger’s fishtail outfit. Actually I’m not a big Zellwegger fan (did you see Cold Mountain? Cinderella Man? ‘Nough said) but I think the dress works. Hate the hair though, she looks like she’s going to the prom, not the Globes. Seems like half of Hollywood had one big bad hair day!
