Chad Michael Murray leaving One Tree Hill?
The good news is that there will be a seventh season of One Tree Hill. On the downside, Hilarie Burton and Chad Michael Murray, aka Peyton and Lucas, haven´t signed any contracts yet! So will we have a Leyton-less seventh season? And would anyone watch it?
Well, there is the whole ´should there even be a seventh season´thing. Personally, I think they might want to call it quits. Let Peyton and Lucas, FINALLY, get married and then blow Tree Hill sky high. Maybe give Brooke a baby. I can imagine they are sick and tired of being on this show. The whole point was whether Lucas would pick Peyton or Brooke, well, he´s marrying Peyton, she´s preggers, let´s wrap this baby up. Fansites have suggested that Naley, Haley and Nathan, could take centre stage, but I think that would merely be mega boring. They´re cute ´n all, but how many times can Grandpa Dan try to get everybody killed?
The return of Brucas?
All this being said, Cmm and Burton might still sign on, or one of them might. I think Cmm is more crucial to the story than rather dull Peyton. Darned cute, but dull. I know a lot of people have been coming out of the closet, well, I´m on team Brucas!
I think the series has run its course and bow out gracefully. Barring that, and as the CW has ordered a 7th season, I don´t think they´re going to back out now, let´s get some mega drama: a Dynasty like shootout at the church, Peyton gives birth and dies in Lucas´arms and Brooke steps up and ends up with the guy and the baby at the end of the 7th season.

it feels like i wrote this article!! i like the whole idea of peyton getting killed off for real and lucas and brooke getting together again. this show cant come back without lucas everyone knows it wont work so either end the show or bring back lucas!! brucas reuniting is a good idea.. but this show has run for 6 seasons at some point its time to end it!
I´m with you! Tjis show without Lucas would be like Dallas without JR! And it´s high time Brucas reunited!

Yall crazy!! Brucas is long Dead and it wouldnt even make sens story line wise. I thought Brucas was cute and all but, I see their relationship as teenage love …but nothing else. Leyton all the way and from the looks of things. Leyton are out for season 7……. so I guess the whole brucas thing wont be an issue.
The writer of this article is a genius, I hope it definitely plays out peyton dying and Brucas reunited. We all know BL were ubruptly ended by peyton’s stupid confession. BL has unfinished business and they belong together. but we all know oth is not this juicey so I see it ending leyton riding off into the sunset, how boring.
Ha, I kinda dreamt this ending a few weeks back! Following the survival of Peyton during the birth (Season 6), she dies of complications (opening show, season 7). A few death bed scenes with Peyton giving Brooke/Lucas her blessing to be together (If CMM stays).

well. First i liked more peyton but now i like brooke . i love chad michael murray .he is the most handsome guy .and for oth chad and sophia have to be together , because they are perfect couple …….

Ok, you people on the “Brucas” team kinda piss me off.
LOOK… IT’S NOT GOING TO HAPPEN.
1. Sophia Bush does NOT want it to happen, because she doesn’t want to play house even on a tv show with CMM. (Obviously you can’t have Brucas without Sophia…)
2. They CLOSED OUT that story line, people. Have ya’ll not watched season 4? Because seriously…. they went on a date again after the 2nd time they broke up…. and BOTH said that it felt like they were over. They BOTH said (ther characters) that it felt like their relationship was done, and that they just wanted to be friends.
3. Peyton WAITED to tell Lucas how she felt until BROOKE made it clear that she didn’t want him anymore.
That is all I have to say.
Oh one more thing….
Hillarie (who plays Peyton) is leaving the show BECAUSE CMM has left the show to do movies. This was his choice…. her character probably won’t be coming back either because well, they’re FINALLY getting their happy ending!
I personally am a Lucas and Peyton fan all the way. We started out the entire show with them…. it’s only right to end it that way. And Brooke and Lucas work better as friends anyway…. As he said in season 1. He has fun with Brooke, but he has a really intense emotional connection with Peyton.
I rest my case.

Ok, I’ve been a fan of One Tree Hill since season 1. I can’t stand when people make comments about Leyton and they just started watching Season 4 or 5 like a week ago. People don’t know what they’re talking about! It started with Lucaus and Peyton and I don’t think it should end without them. They are the stars! WHy do you think people keep coming back for more? Brooke, Nathan, and Haley are played out! They have the same issues over and over again. &+ I don’t buy Brooke’s whole “I’m not a slut anymore” persona. The writers are making a big mistake to continue One Tree Hill without CMM & HB. They made One Tree Hill what it is today. It just won’t be the same. And if they decide to do it anyway, they need to have every character have a child in season 7 and then place the show like 15 years later and start with everyone’s kids as the new set. That would be better
or (remake it like 90210 or Melrose Place)
I liked peyton and Lucas, I think it will be good to have fresh faces, besides I think that the show will still be awesome. U can\’t be angry at the director, producers, etc. I\’m sure Hilarie and Chad wanted this. I\’m really sure that you guys will still be watching it. I love the show, I wouldn\’t stop watching it just because two people have left, the show has so many good characters, i\’m always going to love oth no matter what.
You are really one of my big fan, i love your role in the movie ‘one tree hill’ i’m hoping to get in touch with you Chad Michael Murray.
