Finally ER´s favorite lovebirds were back on the screen! In an interview with TVGuide Nurse Hathaway herself explains how it was filmed top secret!

“My last episode was done in complete secrecy. George flew from Burbank and I flew from LAX (Los Angeles airport), and we met in Seattle with only (ER creator) John Wells and our director of photography. We rented a house, I did my hair and make-up in a guest bathroom. John Wells took the film and locked it in his safe. NBC didn’t even see it until the day it aired. It was so exciting.”
