Daine Kruger and Joshua Jackson dating

I know the days of Dawson´s Creek have been over for a long long time, but I´m always glad to hear anything about Joshua Jackson, even if it means he´s still dating gorgeous German model and Troy actress Diane Kruger. Prevously he dated the likes of Katie Holmes, Julia Stiles (whatever happened to…?) and Rosario Dawson.

Joshua, who played troubled boy Pacey in Dawson´s, was the only reason I ever watched that show. Since leaving the creek, the Dawson gals have done very well for themselves, Katie Holmes marrying Tom Cruise, Michelle Williams acting in wonderful movies like Brokeback Mountain, marrying and divorcing Heath Ledger, whereas the boys have lagged sadly behind: James vander Beek has the occasional guest appearance, most notably on One Tree Hill and How I met your mother, but where did Joshua Jackson go?

Well, he´s been in all kinds of stuff I didn´t see apparentlY! Like playing Peter Bishop on Star Trek´s J.J. Abrahams´sci-fi series Fringe. Guess I´ll be checking that out!

Shame on me, but I had kinda forgotten all about him, until I read today that he´s still dating Diane Kruger and has been for ages! Apparently there were rumors the two had split, but they turned out to be false. Well, if like me, you had forgotten all about Joshua, now you know as well

Melissa Gilbert, Rob Lowe, John Cusack love triangle

Little House will never seem the same again… Little Laura Ingalls (Melissa Gilbert) was dating Rob Lowe in the eighties and stepped out on him with his best friend, John Cusack!

That just about sums up the eighties! The only thing missing is Molly Ringwald, preferably wearing pink, and a Talking Heads soundtrack.

Who´d have thunk that sweet innocent Laura, I mean Melissa, Gilbert would have so much scandalous ammo to put in her memoir, Prairie Tale: A Memoir ?

She seems a bit young for memoirs, but what a great opportunity to have! Back in the eighties both Lowe and Cusack were very hot properties, Lowe started in such classics as St. Elmo’s Fire, About Last Night and Class, and Cusack in The Sure Thing and Sixteen Candles.

According to Celebitchy, and Prairie Tale: A Memoir, when Lowe went off filming The Hotel New Hampshire, he asked Cusack to “look after” his girlfriend Melissa. Famous last words!

Apparently, on the New Hampshire set Rob embarked on a fling with Nastassia Kinski and Melissa struck back by sleeping with Cusack. Wow. Papa Ingalls would never have approved of that.

Hugh Jackman to star in A Steady Rain

What would happen if Wolverine came up against 007? Would they share a martini? Have a smoke? Well, we´re about to find out as Hugh Jackman and Daniel Craig are stepping onto the stage together!
Hugh is a veteran on the stage, but for Daniel it´ll be a big step from the big screen.

The play is called A Steady Rain and it´s about two Chicago cops, lifelong friends, and the night that changes the way they see each other.
A steady rain is opening on Broadway this fall.

Mel Gibson girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva pregnant

Usually, when a celeb pregnancy is announced the happy parents are said to be “thrilled”. This time around for Mel Gibson and girlfriend, Russian singer Oksana Grigorieva, who are expecting their first child together, things are slightly different.

Mel is in the middle of a nasty divorce with his current wife and mother of his seven (!) children and his kids are none to pleased about their old dad spawning yet another child. A “friend” of Mel´s told the National Enquirer that it´s mostly the money his kids worry about:

“They’re furious with him and say they’re going to take steps to protect their inheritance, which they feel is in jeopardy.”

90210 Shenae Grimes designs Jac & Gill

The adorable 90210 star showed off her own new line of teen fashion at a recent red carpet ´do. She looked fab and is looking forward to spending the summer with her family in Toronto. That is, until filming starts again mid June!

About the way Annie has developed she told the folks at Just Jared: “Annie was good, good, good girl all year long, always smiling and being pushed around by mean kids at Beverly High and finally she put her foot down. I’m excited, I hope she keeps that foot down for a little while and stirs up a little trouble”.

Angelina looking tense with Brad in Cannes

They are Hollywood´s hottest couple, but lately there have been rumors that all is not comme il faut at Chateau Brangelina. The couple have allegedly been feuding and Brad has even been caught drunk dialing ex-wife Jennifer Aniston.

So when the power couple showed up at Cannes, they were even more than usual the pinnacle of attention. They responded by holding hands and apparently whispering sweet nothings.

You know what? I don´t buy it.

They are usually not that affectionate in public. The whole whispering and Brad-never -leaving-Ange´s side thing seemed a bit much. And, in this pic at least, the beautiful Angelina looks worn out and clingy, Brad looks both bored and scared.

Now I am against people breaking up. It upsets my stomach and especially when there are a truckload of kids involved I sincerely hope they work it out, but I don´t think they´ve buried the hatchet just yet.

Glee cast

Critics lamented that new high school musical dramedy series Glee only got 10.7 million viewers. I say: not bad for a first timer up against Idols!

And a lot of people agree, because there´s been a run at the songs from Glee on itunes, especially the show stopper Don´t stop believin´!
As Leah Michelle, who plays the unstoppable Rachel Berry, summed it up: “I think it’s what we need on a TV. A show that is filled with heart and love that is funny. It sends an amazing message to kids about the arts and being who you are!

Brittany SNow in Gossip Girl Spin off

Will they or won´t they? It´s that week of the year when we find out which of our beloved series will get the axe, which will get to shine another season and which new projects will grace our screens this fall.

Apparently, yay, there will be a new Melrose Place, with Ashlee Simpson, and there will be a new show with Mischa Barton The beautiful life (why?! She´s perrrrty, but we all know she can´t act her way out of a Fendi bag!)

Still in television limbo: The body politic with Brian Austin Green and that much anticipated Gossip Girl spinoff! There´s been a lot of buzz, the GG series was good to go, Brittany Snow has the lead, so what´s the wait? The recession?

E! Online claims that the series might be up for a mid season slot, EW says the project is dead in the water.

Shame! I was really looking forward to all those crazy outfits, great 80´s music, lots of drama and Andrew McCarthy…

How I met your mother season finale Robin & Barney

The trouble with Season finales is that they usually focus on someone dying (like in One Tree Hill) or people hooking up (Bones, House). On HIMYM, love had been in the air for months for Robin&Barney.
