Emma Watson Elle interview

Emma Watson has almost finished shooting the very last of the Harry Potter series. Come September she will draw a line under this part of her life and embark on a whole new life as a student at Brown University. In an interview with Elle Magazine she opened up about her thoughts on life after Potter:

“My whole life has been about Harry Potter and then all of that will shut down and I don’t know what it will be like.”

Also, Emma claims she had no idea how much money she was making on the Potter films, and said she was “shocked” when she found out on her 18th birthday that she had amassed a fortune of well over 10 million dollars: “My dad never told me how much money I was earning. The truth is I would just like to pretend that it doesn’t exist.”

I wonder about that. Would you really work for a huge part of your life, missing holidays, being in the centre of attention ALL the time and not wonder if you were being paid more than a pittance? Call me greedy, but I´d definitely have wanted to know! And Emma is not stupid, she got straight A´s. Maybe not in maths?
