Ridley Scott has been confirmed as the new director for the long awaited and much discussed Alien Prequel. A great and obvious choice as he also directed the original Alien way back in 1979. Sigourney can´t really play a younger version of herself, so who´ll be the new Ripley?

The name being tossed around is Megan Fox. Now Megan Fox´name is tossed around a lot these days, and she´s apparently being considered for every part from Bond-girl, which she alledgedly turned down, to Lara Croft. I actually think she´s too buxom and sexy to play Ripley.

Sigourney Weaver was all kinds of stuff back then, but definitely not buxom or sexy. Pretty, in a fragile way and very lean. Which brings me to my own Ripley-suggestion: Summer Glau, aka Cameron, the hot homocidal robot girl from Terminator SCC! She´s all kinds of hot, but she´s not overly sexy. Geeks love her, and she looks great wielding a huge gun.
