Heather Locklear back on melrose Place

Good news! I’ve been rooting for Heather Locklear to make her come-back on Melrose Place ever since I heard about the reboot and yes, she is coming back after all!

It’s been a rough couple of years for Heather Locklear, ending as it so often does in Hollywood, with a stint in rehab. She’s out, she’s clean, she’s dating a cute actor (former Melrose Place co-star Jack Wagner no less) and she’s ready to get back to work. The former Spin City and Dynasty star is starting over in a very familiar place: Melrose Place!

I bet they decided a while ago and figured they’d wait until the launch of the show for max effect.
“We’re ecstatic to have the chance to bring Amanda Woodward back to ‘Melrose Place,’” executive producers Todd Slavkin and Darren Swimmer stated. “Heather’s involvement in the show is something we’ve been working on for some time as we couldn’t imagine creating and producing this show without the iconic character’s inclusion.”
Hm, it’s hardly ever fun to be called iconic as a woman, it basically means old, but still, I’m happy, they’re happy, let’s hope Heather’s happy as well!
