Balthazar Getty: juggling wife & Sienna, how does he do it?

Remember back in the day on Melrose Place when lovely Jane would always go back to evil Michael Mancini? You´d sit and shout “don´t do it Jane!” at the tv, but there she´d go. It seems Balthazar Getty aka The Douche, has married his very own Jane, his wife Rosetta Millington. Even though he has betrayed her on the frontpage of every gossip rag with Sienna Miller, the pair were spotted together again looking very much a couple!

Makes you want to shout out “don´t do it Rosetta”. She´s pretty, she´s probably quite wealthy, she doesn´t need this guy! And rumor has it he´s also houseshopping with Evil Sienna. You remember her, she´s the girl who was plastered all over Balthy´s face, topless, last year. Apparently she digs guys with lots of kids with other women, because she previously dated Jude Law, who´s on to his fourth kid, just like Getty.

If stuff doesn´t work out for Getty on Brothers and Sisters, -as it seems it´s not, in the series he´s run off to Mexico, leaving behind his wife and child. Ring any bells? – he could always sign up for the new Melrose Place. I hear Jane is coming back…

They´ve got to be kidding! One of the world´s most hated couples seems to be giving it yet another try! Last summer, Balthazar Getty and Sienna Miller made headlines when Getty left his wife, and mother of his gaggle of children, for Sienna and the two very publicly made out for a couple of months. Sienna pranced around topless and Balthazar was all over her, all of the time, way before his wife ever knew he was leaving her. Yep, that´s what earned him the monnicker “The Douchebag” and it suits him.

Then the pair apparently broke up, hooked up again til everyone got bored. And now they´re back on again. Wonder how long it´ll be this time. You think Sienna is pregnant?

Nora is still trying to find Tommy in Mexico, Rebecca and Kevin tell Holly about their wedding plans, Kitty and Robert bicker about their seperation, Saul gives Ryan his severance package.

As season finales go, this was kinda lame. All the Walkers went on a road trip to find Tommy, supposedly in a cult (!). He wasn´t too thrilled to see them, but who can blame them? Kitty and Robert decide to call it quits. Well. They didn´t exactly try very hard did they? And where did Kitty leave her kid when she flounced off to Mexico? And is it me or is that one really ugly pearshaped baby?Shame about Rob Lowe though, guess we won´t be seeing much of him from now on.

Oh well, now Kitty can get back with diaper guy. Or someone else. Apart from poor Sarah, the Walkers never seem to be shy of a date or two.

Saul feeling guilty I could understand, but he didn´t kill Ryan´s mom, and neither did William! He´s a jerk, but not responsible. So Ryan can look broody and creepy all he likes, but it doesn´t make him right.

Walker marriages seem rather doomed: Tommy & Julia, Sarah & Joe, Kitty & Robert, it´s been quite a year.

Kitty and Robert have to decide whether they are going to work at their marriage or call it quits. Joe is getting remarried and Sarah is taking it hard. Justin gets news from med school and shares the news with Rebecca. Nora reaches out to Robert to find Tommy.

Is it me or is Rob Lowe a lot hotter when he´s kinda mean and angry? It´s quite a turn on…
Makes Alec look like a dweeb. Justin and Rebecca getting back in the sack was predictable. Justin is getting creepier and creepier… I love that place where Tommy is hiding out! Anybody know where that is? Nora dressing up like an explorer from the 19th century, hat and all, was a bit over the top though.

The marriage proposal actually made me mist up. In a good way. I´m not a Justin and Rebecca fan, and getting married seconds after getting together for the umpteeth time seems like a divorce waiting to happen, but yes, it scored very high on my romance-o-meter. Shucks….

Brothers and Sisters star, and eighties heartthrob, Rob Lowe has been embroiled with his former nanny Laura Boyce for quite a while now, since 2008 to be exact. The nanny was employed by Lowe and his wife Sheryl in 2007. After Boyce was fired she spread all kinds of stories about her former employers. The Lowes sued because the nanny had signed a confidentiality agreement, which she broke when she told tales about how Lowe´s wife allegedly prances around the house naked.

Boyce claimed freedom of speech and countersued Sheryl for sexual harrassment, but these charges were thrown out by a judge.

Justin & Rebecca

Justin and Kevin have to break the news of Tommy´s disappearance to the rest of the family. The family is aghast. Nora´s busy opening her new cancer center and Robert offers to “help”.
Ryan is still putting the moves on Rebecca and Justin and Rebecca keep drifting further apart.

Ryan (am I the only one who keeps mixing up Ryan and Evan?) thinks his mom may have killed herself because of William Walker and is trying rope Rebecca into helping him find out more about what happened.
Sarah´s company Greenatopia is moving into their first offices. Julia is pissed off at Tommy and I guess she´s right. Robert´s behaving like a royal jerk. Alec the park guy is CUTE!!! And he doesn´t wear eyeliner David and Holly are SO cute together! And good for Holly for dropping the charges, I seriously don´t think I could have been quite as magnaminous.

Are Emily van Camp and Dave Annable dating?

Alledgedly, Rebecca (Emily van Camp) and Justin (Dave Annable) were sweethearts in real life for a while, but broke up early 2008. I wasn´t thrilled about this development and I still think they make a disturbing couple. Also, apart from being cute, they don´t seem to have a hell of a lot going for them and pretty much zero chemistry.

However this was kind of a lame way for them to break up. I was literally shouting at the tv for Rebecca to give Justin another shot. And not fall for that age old soap opera gag where one guy weazles his way into another man´s relationship by backstabbing and gossip… Alas, guess Rebecca doesn´t watch quite enough As the world turns! Ryan is obviously kinda evil and that´s a nice turn for the books. To many nice people make B&S dull dull DULL. Guess Ryan can claim part of the estate as well? That could be fun…

Sarah and Kitty´s lunch with new brother Ryan doesn´t go as expected, while Kevin and the newly heartbroken Justin take Tommy on a trip to Baha.

Funfunfun! The boys end up at Spring break, where Kevin gets all the attention. Justin is trying to write his application to med school and Ryan is putting the moves on Rebecca. Ryan is a bit of a creep, there´s something really wrong with his teeth. Too big, too bright? And Tommy ran of to Costa Rica. You know what? Good for him! He has possible jail time and a mega dull wife, who´s also pissed at him, waiting for him back home. Go surf, Tommy!

Funny quote: Nora about Tommy: “When your son is charged with embezzlement you start questioning your parenting system.”

Brothers and Sisters: Taking Sides recap

The fall out from all the excitement from last weeks double bill. Robert is still determined to become a governor, even though he just had open heart surgery and a brand new baby. Kitty is not amused. Sarah and Saul try their hardest to keep Tommy´s legal issues from their mom Nora and Ryan is coming on a little strong.

Liked it! Though I think Sarah needs more of a story line of her own. A new romance might be nice.
Still, they shouldn´t try and pull pranks like they did last week, a cheap drumming up of audience because they said someone was going to die. Nobody died, really, and I felt a bit cheated!
