Balthazar as Tommy

Balthazar as Tommy

The siblings are all trying to wiggle out of Thanksgiving but everybody’s afraid to tell their mom. Then baby Elizabeth suddenly gets ill and has to have a liver transplant. Only her biological father can be a donor. But who’s her daddy? Kevin or Justin?

Liked it! I’d kinda forgotten about the brother-being-the-sperm-donor-thingy. Cool. So if you don’t want to know who Lizzie’s dad is stop reading NOW!

Soooooo…. Kevin’s the dad. That must be so hard for Tommy! And Scotty! And Justin! Cute kid btw. And Balthazar Getty can actually act! I am not BG-fan, check out Seven worst celeb boyfriends but he looked the part of troubled father and I found myself oddly moved when he broke down. Excellent ep!

Lovely, loving scene between Kevin and Scotty in the hospital. Thumbs up!

HIMYM Not A Father’s Day 4×07

HIMYM Barney

HIMYM Barney

Lily and Marshall decide to have a baby, but Lily gets cold feet and calls on Robin and Ted to help her decide.

I like the way they portrayed the way people decide to have kids: Lily and Marshall are deep in debt, live in a crappy apartment, and work all hours of the day. Yet looking at a baby’s sock decides them on having a child. Yep. I’ve seen that happen. Soooo, Robin moves in with Ted, ey?
Well, she’s still aunt Robin, so I guess that’s not gonna happen (I’m still rooting for Barney&Robin, when’s that gonna happen?!) And I’m very glad Lily and Marshall aren’t having a baby. Come on, people having babies are boring!

Also nice to see Kevin’s dad (The Wonderyears!) again, though he didn’t get to do much.

Funny quotes:

Lily: “Baby me, Marshall, I’m ready!”

Robin to Ted “Every time you hear the word ‘kid’ you get two little lactation stains on your shirt.” (ouch!)

Barney:
“The cheerleader effect is when a group of women seems hot, but only as a group. It’s like with cheerleaders. They seem hot, but take each one individually: sled dogs. And that, my friends, is the cheerleader effect, also known as the brides maids paradox, and, for a brief period in the nineties, the Spice girls syndrome. Scary Spice indeed.”

Katie Holmes Eli Stone ’steamy’ video

Oct 10, 2008 Author: Liz | Filed under: Eli Stone

Not so steamy Katie

Katie Holmes has made some bad career choices, starting of course, with marrying village idiot Cruise. It’s a bit like Jennifer Anniston: marrying Brad Pitt, then the hottest guy on the planet probably seemed like a good idea at the time, but looking back…..

These days Katie mostly gets headlines for wearing the same pair of sunglasses as daughter Suri or stepping out with Posh, not for her acting abilities and Tom, well, we all know what his headlines are like. finally she’s making a bit of a stir doing some acting, this time in ABC’s Eli Stone, a show I quite like, but wouldn’t miss if it was axed. The singing and visions are all a bit too Ally McBeal for me, and they’re lawyers to boot. Not as much crying, thank god, as on Ally McBeal which seemed to have every episode end with someone walking alone in the rainy or snowy night.

Anyway, Katie’s one of Eli’s visions in an episode that’s yet to air. It’s propably meant to be sexy, dancing in some kind of catsuit and so far it’s been described as ’steamy’ ‘hot’ and ’sexy’.I’m sorry, are we looking at the same pics/vids here? So NOT sexy! Looks like a bloke with a wig in really high heels. Nope. Not doing it for us, not sexy at all.  And steamy only because she seems to be dancing in some sort of cloud. I quite like her singing though. Katie’s episode airs 21st of October
