90210 Jana Kramer

Danneel Harris, aka Brooke´s evil nemesis Rachel, has just signed on for at least seven episodes of One Tree Hill, starting the second ep. I´m not terribly excited, because she wasn´t really all that evil, but maybe this time around? She could have a go at stealing Julian away from Brooke?

Anyway, let´s summarize the new cast members:
90210 alum Jana Kramer will be playing the new face of Brooke´s fashion label. And BOY is she pretttttty!
Nip/Tuck ´s Robert Buckley is signing on as Nathan´s agent and the relatively unknown Shantel Vansanten as Hayley´s sister.

90210 ´s Brian Austin Green moving to One Tree Hill,
but apparently he got a lot of bad online publicity for it and then “his people” backed out. No Tree Hill for BAG.

One Tree Hill about to take another leap?

Writers and producers are racking threir brains to come up with a new story line now that Chad Michael Murray and Hilarie Burton have definitely left. It´s seems they are contemplating another leap in time!

At the start of season five One Tree Hill took the leap four years into the future, and I still think it was a great idea. This time around the leap would only be one year into the future, a nice window of opportunity for Lucas to write yet another one of his books and go on a very, very long promotional tour!

Desperate Housewives has done the leap, and the guys at Ghostwisperer are contemplating a time leap to allow Melinda´s as yet unborn offspring to start as a tiny ghostwisperer her- or hisself.

What do you guys think? To much time travel going on these days or is it a useful method to keep a storyline interesting?

Brian Austin Green to join One Tree Hill?

YAY!!! Forget CMM, here´s BAG! EW has it  on good authority that One Tree Hill producers are almost done signing up Terminator and 90210 hottie Brian Austin Green to replace the recently departed Chad Michael Murray. Wow, that would be so cool!

It´ll be a big leap from Derek in Terminator, whatever they make him do! Come to think of it, they could cast him as Julian´s brother, they are somewhat similar. Guess he´ll be putting the moves on Brooke, as there are no other available women left. Well, Haley and Nathan could split I suppose, but that would piss off a lot of people. So Brooke it is. Oh, I just read on, and Brian would be playing Nathan´s sports-agent. So far, no drama at all.

He´ll be one of three new characters, including Haley´s older sister and a model Brooke hires for her new collection. Looking forward to it already!

one tree hill season 6 finale

Of course, all anyone cared all anyone cared about for this season´s finale was “Is she dead?”. Always a great way to end a season. Well, here be spoilers: she´s still very much alive. Which to me was a bit of a disappointment.I had hoped for lots of drama and there wasn´t any, everybody was happy, sickeningly so even.

Lucas and Peyton and their rather adorable little girl quite literally drove off into the sunset in that black convertible. Nathan made the NBA, Grandpa Dan made a half hearted attempt to redeem himself, Brooke finally told Julian she loved him and got her company back from her mom into the bargain.

It felt more like the end of the series than the end of the season. Where can they go from here? And why should we watch? There are no sizzzling storylines left unfinished, even grandpa Dan isn´t evil anymore.

So how exactly are Lucas and Peyton leaving the series?

Will they crash the old convertible and die? Or get scarred so badly that they can be played by different actors altogether? Maybe the series should have ended here. Or maybe they´ll do another timewarp? What do you guys think?

Lucas & Peyton wedding

Finally, it´s wedding time for Leyton! Nathan´s still dreaming about the NBA and an unexpected guest gets Brooke all hot and bothered.

It´s what we´ve been waiting for all these years, and it doesn´t disappoint. Well, I was hoping for a craze Lindsey shooting the wedding party Kill Bill-style, but apart from that, it was nice!

I love Brooke!
Brooke; “That bitch stole my man!”
Haley: “Yeah I know, but as it´s their wedding day, don´t you think it´s time to let it go?”
Julian showing up with “fake Brooke” was a bit obvious, but very effective. Jamie on a leash was rather a good idea, after what happened last time Lucas got married. And what a great dress Haley was wearing!!!! I will scour the internet trying to find it!!

Chad Michael Murray leaving One Tree Hill

I was genuinely surprised by this little tidbit from EW´s Aussiello. He´s hardly ever wrong, so I guess
Chad Michael Murray and Hillary Burton are truely and definitely leaving One Tree Hill next season!

Who knew? I know, I know, they said they were leaving, we had that weird, teary message from Hilary, but I really thought it was all a hoax to boost ratings and squeeze more money from the producers. I guess that may have been part of it. No offense, but I can´t imagine the two of them having tons of big movie deals in the making. I love them on this show, but I´m not sure they would be any good anywhere else. They´ve been Peyton and Lucas for an awfully long time! Oh well, I hope things work out for them.

And to be fair, apart from the whole dying when giving birth thingy, they haven´t had much of a season. Brooke has had one hell of a roller coaster season, Julian is being boosted up to a cast regular (yay!), Nathan might be playing the NBA, Haley sang with Nick Lachey, Skills slept with Nathan´s mom, even Mouth had a more eventful season (though I pray to God that Milly accidentally gets shot in the finale. Enough already! I so don´t want to watch Mouth and Milly starting a family!)
So basically, they´ve been kinda gone for a season already, and the shows done fine. So I´m thinking: Brulian it is!

Only five eps to go this season, and here´s a very cryptic teaser….

So…
Is Chad Michael Murray leaving? Peyton dying? Anything happening to Haley and Nathan other than heavy petting? CMM and Hilarie Burton apparently keep the secret very well, and rumour has it the writers haven´t even written any story line for either Peyton or Lucas, because it´s all up in the air.
My opinion? Or at least my sneaking suspicion? It´s all a ruse! They´ve already signed on and this is simply a publicity stunt.

What do you guys think? Are they leaving or is it all a hoax?

Julian is such an idiot! So a girl doesn´t say I love you back, so you decide to give her a plane ticket and give her an ultimatum to up sticks thousands and thousands of kilometres. Peyton and her angelic sick look is already getting on my nerves.

All in all rather a dull ep, and to top it all off, Millicent is coming back to town! Mouth and Milly are one boring yet oddly creepy couple that really didn´t need to reunite, I much prefer granny Deb and Skills!

Lucas & Peyton

Finally, OTH is back! It´s been too long.
Haley and Nathan celebrate their anniversary, while Jamie spends the night at Granny Deb´s.
Just as Lucas has finished the baby´s room, there´s some world altering news about the baby. What are Peyton and Lucas going to do? Millie and Mouth talk to each other about their break up.

Is Peyton dying?

Sooooooooooo, Peyton could die while giving birth? Nice cliffhanger!  So that´s why Hilarie Burton hasn´t signed on for the next season yet? Because if she had, we´d know she doesn´t die. Of course she´s going to die! It´ll be great and oh so romantic. She´s already got this old fashioned consumptive look going on, with the heavy eyelids. She´ll have a whale of a time dying and giving birth. Lucas can write yet another book about it and, finally!, marry Brooke!

Mouth & Millie

Millie is back from New York to pick up the last of her stuff. She´s had laser eye correction in the mean time. I´m kind of sorry about that. She looked cool with those glasses and now her face looks kinda bland. Mouth takes most of the blame for their break up, which seems excessive to say the least! So he texted a girl. A lot. She SLEPT with Owen! After very decidedly NOT sleeping with Mouth for ages! I´d have kicked her butt to New York myself.

Brooke & Julian break up!?

Julian tells Brooke he loves her and it freaks her out. And rather than say, hey, give it a bit of time, she makes a whole song and dance about how they´re just having fun. Yeah, I´d love to hear that when I´d just told a girl I´m in love with her. What is it with this I love you stuff? If you don´t say it back immediately we´re done? Can´t be very much in love if you can´t even wait a day or two. I wish Brooke would get over herself, cause Julian is really cute!
