One Tree Hill babe Sophia Bush turned 27 on July 8th and talked about the pressure of staying fit in a recent interview: “As I’m getting older, I appreciate being healthy for the way that I feel, you know for being able to get through a sixteen hour day which is easier when you’re body is functioning properly.”

One Tree Hill about to take another leap?

Writers and producers are racking threir brains to come up with a new story line now that Chad Michael Murray and Hilarie Burton have definitely left. It´s seems they are contemplating another leap in time!

At the start of season five One Tree Hill took the leap four years into the future, and I still think it was a great idea. This time around the leap would only be one year into the future, a nice window of opportunity for Lucas to write yet another one of his books and go on a very, very long promotional tour!

Desperate Housewives has done the leap, and the guys at Ghostwisperer are contemplating a time leap to allow Melinda´s as yet unborn offspring to start as a tiny ghostwisperer her- or hisself.

What do you guys think? To much time travel going on these days or is it a useful method to keep a storyline interesting?

Brian Austin Green to join One Tree Hill?

YAY!!! Forget CMM, here´s BAG! EW has it  on good authority that One Tree Hill producers are almost done signing up Terminator and 90210 hottie Brian Austin Green to replace the recently departed Chad Michael Murray. Wow, that would be so cool!

It´ll be a big leap from Derek in Terminator, whatever they make him do! Come to think of it, they could cast him as Julian´s brother, they are somewhat similar. Guess he´ll be putting the moves on Brooke, as there are no other available women left. Well, Haley and Nathan could split I suppose, but that would piss off a lot of people. So Brooke it is. Oh, I just read on, and Brian would be playing Nathan´s sports-agent. So far, no drama at all.

He´ll be one of three new characters, including Haley´s older sister and a model Brooke hires for her new collection. Looking forward to it already!

one tree hill season 6 finale

Of course, all anyone cared all anyone cared about for this season´s finale was “Is she dead?”. Always a great way to end a season. Well, here be spoilers: she´s still very much alive. Which to me was a bit of a disappointment.I had hoped for lots of drama and there wasn´t any, everybody was happy, sickeningly so even.

Lucas and Peyton and their rather adorable little girl quite literally drove off into the sunset in that black convertible. Nathan made the NBA, Grandpa Dan made a half hearted attempt to redeem himself, Brooke finally told Julian she loved him and got her company back from her mom into the bargain.

It felt more like the end of the series than the end of the season. Where can they go from here? And why should we watch? There are no sizzzling storylines left unfinished, even grandpa Dan isn´t evil anymore.

So how exactly are Lucas and Peyton leaving the series?

Will they crash the old convertible and die? Or get scarred so badly that they can be played by different actors altogether? Maybe the series should have ended here. Or maybe they´ll do another timewarp? What do you guys think?

Chuck and Blair on Gossip Girl

Chuck Bass aka Brit actor Ed Westwick has been cast as one of the great romantic heroes of all time: Heathcliff from Wuthering Heights. The Bronte novel was famously turned into a movie by none other than sir Laurence Olivier way back in 1939.Olivier won an Oscar for his part, I´m not sure Ed will as well.

I think it´s a great bit of casting. In a way, Chuck is a bit of a Heathcliff in Gossip Girl, because he´s a loveable bad guy. Heathcliff is, according to Bronte specialist Andrew McCarthy, “a man prone to domestic violence, kidnapping, possible murder and digging up his dead lover. He is moody and unkind to animals.”

I´ve never seen Chuck kick a puppy or torture a kitten, but apart from the unkind to animals bit, I think that´s Chuck to a T!

The role of Cathy is to be played by Bond girl Gemma Arterton, after the original star, Natalie Portman, dropped out. It´s Gemma´s second major role in a period drama, as she starred in Tess of D´Urbervilles.

Only five eps to go this season, and here´s a very cryptic teaser….

So…
Is Chad Michael Murray leaving? Peyton dying? Anything happening to Haley and Nathan other than heavy petting? CMM and Hilarie Burton apparently keep the secret very well, and rumour has it the writers haven´t even written any story line for either Peyton or Lucas, because it´s all up in the air.
My opinion? Or at least my sneaking suspicion? It´s all a ruse! They´ve already signed on and this is simply a publicity stunt.

What do you guys think? Are they leaving or is it all a hoax?

Grandpa Dan seems back to his old tricks, I like it! Who´s he gonna kill now?
Naley moving out of Tree Hill? Peyton having a miscarriage? Unfortunatly, it´ll probably all turn out to be nothing at all. But I´ll be watching anyway, just to make sure!

What the…?

Ok, now I´m really hoping for the church shoot out, Peyton pledging her baby to Brooke with her dying breath…. Bring back Brucas!
I guess it could be a ruse of some sort, spice up interest, if everybody just signs back up now, we all know there won´t be any major casualties between now and season 7. But is it me, or does Hil sound like she´s on something?

Chad Michael Murray leaving One Tree Hill?

The good news is that there will be a seventh season of One Tree Hill. On the downside, Hilarie Burton and Chad Michael Murray, aka Peyton and Lucas, haven´t signed any contracts yet! So will we have a Leyton-less seventh season? And would anyone watch it?
Well, there is the whole ´should there even be a seventh season´thing. Personally, I think they might want to call it quits. Let Peyton and Lucas, FINALLY, get married and then blow Tree Hill sky high. Maybe give Brooke a baby. I can imagine they are sick and tired of being on this show. The whole point was whether Lucas would pick Peyton or Brooke, well, he´s marrying Peyton, she´s preggers, let´s wrap this baby up. Fansites have suggested that Naley, Haley and Nathan, could take centre stage, but I think that would merely be mega boring. They´re cute ´n all, but how many times can Grandpa Dan try to get everybody killed?

The return of Brucas?

All this being said, Cmm and Burton might still sign on, or one of them might. I think Cmm is more crucial to the story than rather dull Peyton. Darned cute, but dull. I know a lot of people have been coming out of the closet, well, I´m on team Brucas!

I think the series has run its course and bow out gracefully. Barring that, and as the CW has ordered a 7th season, I don´t think they´re going to back out now, let´s get some mega drama: a Dynasty like shootout at the church, Peyton gives birth and dies in Lucas´arms and Brooke steps up and ends up with the guy and the baby at the end of the 7th season.

Bethany Joy Galeotti & James Lafferty

Rumors had been flying for a while, but now it seems to be a done deal: singer Nick Lachey will definitely be guest-starring on One Tree Hill!Of course it´s still hush-hush, but Jessica Simpson´s ex-husband probably will be in the episode airing April 27th.

Is this the start of a whole new career in acting for Nick? Not yet anyway, because he will simply be playing himself, dying to record a hot song with Haley! Does that spell trouble in Haley/Nathan paradise? It might do. It´s about time Haley got back in the game, the past few months she´s mostly been helping other people´s storylines along. Maybe she can give Nick a sloppy old kiss?
