Sarah, Nora and Kitty Walker

Sarah, Nora and Kitty Walker

Is it me or is Scotty’s mom awfully young? Anyway, yes, Kevin and Rebecca finally had sex. Still felt a bit ickey. Nora got her grant, basically because her cheating husband used to play golf with the big money guy, not really a wonderful start to her independence spree, but hey, those sick families will get their 17 million dollar house.

Holly and Rebecca got a little drunk together and seem to be mending bridges. I actually like Holly and I was sorry she got such a lousy deal. Not only didn’t she get the guy, he was cheating on her as well? Jeez. Well, she did get all that lovely money….

I actually thought Kevin was right to kick up a fuss and yes, I like that they are both still a little uneasy about the gay marriage thing: I wish it wasn’t so, but most of society still has to get used to two guys, or girls, being a married couple (did I mention Vote no on prop 8?), so it’s only natural that they’re still finding their feet.

Molly Ringwald: No on prop 8!

Molly, Pretty in pink

Looking pretty awful in a green, frumpy, wrap dress actress Molly Ringwald made a stand to vote no to prop 8, the law that’ll make it illegal for same sex couples to get married. Now I have given my opinion on this before, I think the law is segregational and discriminatory, not to mention mean and stupid, so I won’t bore you with that. But I’m glad that celebrities are taking a stand and not just using fame as a way to get freebies and good seats in restaurants.
So here’s Molly’s vid:

Is it me or does she look awful in that hideous dress? And the hair?
And if Molly Ringwald, my one time heroine, ravishing in films like Pretty in pink and the wonderful Breakfast Club is 41, how old does that make me? (don’t answer that;)

Brad Pitt: Vote no on prop 8!

Brad & Angelina

Brad & Angelina

Brad Pitt may have his hands full raising six kids, but he’s also found time to speak out on and support the ‘No on prop 8″ movement, donating 100.000 dollars.

On November 4th Californians can vote on whether same sex couples should be denied the right to get married. Right now they can, if the law’s passed, they can’t. An attempt at legalizing ridiculous discrimination. Marriage is about commitment and love, and denying two people who love each other the right to get married is weird and a little bit frightening. This time it’s gay people, why not next time forbid a Catholic from marrying a Protestant, a white man from marrying a black woman. Or a Jew. Wait, didn’t we already reject those kinds of ridiculous segregational laws?

Brad and Angelina have donated 100.000 bucks, so have Steven Spielberg and Kate Capshaw. Maybe you can help too: Check out the website
