Blair´s new college roommate on Gossip Girl, Michelle Trachtenberg, had a bit of a freaky outing when she ran into her former boyfriend Pete Wentz and his current wife Ashlee Simpson. Everything started off all hunky dory until Ashlee got a few drinks inside and started giving her hubby a lapdance.

Megan Fox always looks hot

It´s so funny, because it´s true! What was supposed to be a showstopping event, i.e. Eminem getting up close and personal with Borat´s private parts, and all everybody´s twittering about is Megan Fox ´s hair!?

Even the fair Transformers Maiden herself twittered:

“The awards were great. Sorry if you didn’t like my hair. Opinions are opinions.”

Megan had her hair sleeked back, she´s looked better, but hell, even on a not-great day, she still looks very fine indeed. Eminem on the other hand was never a looker, but he hasn´t gotten any cuter in the time he´s been away. I saw him on some talkshow (Letterman?) and I actually felt kinda sorry for him. And even slightly embarassed. Where was that obnoxious, angry guy we loved to hate? Having Sacha Baron Cohen´s dangly bits in his face can´t have been the highlight of his week either, even if it was staged:
“Yes, the Bruno/Eminem incident was staged. That’s all anyone wants to talk about, so let’s get it out of the way. They rehearsed it at dress and yes, it went as far as it did on the live show then.”
said MTV´s headwriter.

I must say though, that I really like the new record, Relapse. Critics complained that Eminem made exactly the same music in 2005. Well, I liked his stuff then and I like it now, so where´s the harm in that? Dolly Parton´s been doing pretty much the same thing for a long time and I never hear anyone complaining. And that´s probably the first time anyone´s compared Eminem to Dolly Parton, so my work for today is done .

Daine Kruger and Joshua Jackson dating

I know the days of Dawson´s Creek have been over for a long long time, but I´m always glad to hear anything about Joshua Jackson, even if it means he´s still dating gorgeous German model and Troy actress Diane Kruger. Prevously he dated the likes of Katie Holmes, Julia Stiles (whatever happened to…?) and Rosario Dawson.

Joshua, who played troubled boy Pacey in Dawson´s, was the only reason I ever watched that show. Since leaving the creek, the Dawson gals have done very well for themselves, Katie Holmes marrying Tom Cruise, Michelle Williams acting in wonderful movies like Brokeback Mountain, marrying and divorcing Heath Ledger, whereas the boys have lagged sadly behind: James vander Beek has the occasional guest appearance, most notably on One Tree Hill and How I met your mother, but where did Joshua Jackson go?

Well, he´s been in all kinds of stuff I didn´t see apparentlY! Like playing Peter Bishop on Star Trek´s J.J. Abrahams´sci-fi series Fringe. Guess I´ll be checking that out!

Shame on me, but I had kinda forgotten all about him, until I read today that he´s still dating Diane Kruger and has been for ages! Apparently there were rumors the two had split, but they turned out to be false. Well, if like me, you had forgotten all about Joshua, now you know as well

Zoe Saldana

Zoe Saldana, already famous for her part as lt. Uhura in the next Star Trek movie, is in negotiations to play a special agent in the comic book adaptation The Losers.

Captain Picard

Patrick Stewart, aka Captain Picard of Star Trek The Next Generation, has won a Laurence Olivier award for his role as Claudius in Hamlet

. It is the third time the X-men star has won the award, which is the academy award for theatre actors.

Stewart may have won three theatre Oscars, but to me he´ll always be Jean-Luc Picard!

Winona Ryder

Ok, so I know Winona Ryder has been out of the picture since, well, basically the nineties. All most people will remember of her is that she shop lifted her way out of a career and then was never seen or heard from again.

I, however, can still remember the nineties, and though ol’ Winnie made some bad choices (Little Women anyone? Or that terrible flick with Richard Gere, November or Autumn or something? Zoiks!) However, she was also in some iconic nineties stuff, like Reality bites, Girl interrupted and The age of innocence.

Sooooo. To boldly go from nineties icon to Spock’s mom? Wow, if I’d been offered that role I’d have had to swallow. She’s only 37 fgs and already playing moms! Spock’s previous mom was the 76 year old (!) Jane Wyatt. She did a wonderful job, but, you know, she was OLD.

On the other hand, I’d give my two front teeth to be in a Star Trek movie, so who cares? Good for Winona. Though I’d want to be Spock or Kirk. Or maybe McCoy. I really like that Keith Urban gets to play McCoy. It’s great that someone who’s been a fan of the series since age 7 gets to join in the fun. And he’s kinda cute.
